We went canoeing at the Hennepin Canal yesterday, the rental place seemed kinda sketchy but everything went well. Right off the bat we see some people on a bridge above us so naturally I start yelling hello and waving and start a conversation with them. As we zig zag down the canal they sarcastically say “You guys look pretty experienced” and I excitedly yelled “This is actually our first time… EVER!”. As we turn around to look forward we see fallen tree limbs and we all duck inside the canoe to go under them, The people on the bridge were laughing, and we were laughing even harder. We had to go through a few big metal pipes to go under the roads and they were all completely covered in spider webs with GIANT spiders, so that was kinda freaky. But we finished the “4 hour trip” in 2.5 hours easy. It was a fun adventure!
